Sunrise Skillet Recipe

This seasonal special is one of my favorites that we've had this year and today I'm sharing our recipe. It comes together quickly and can be customized to fit your preference!

Sunrinse Skillet

Makes 1 serving


2 eggs
2 T milk
2/3 cup potatoes with onions and peppers
1/4 cup sausage
1/2 cup country gravy
shredded cheese
salt and pepper (if desired)


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Wisk eggs and milk together in small bowl; add salt and pepper if desired. Pour into greased 6" skillet over medium heat.
3. Cook until eggs are set; flipping if necessary.
4. Put open face "omelet" in the bottom of a individual sized casserole dish.
5. Add potatoes with onions and peppers, then sausage, and top with country gravy.
6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
7. Top with shredded cheese and bake for another 5-10 minutes or until cheese melts.
